Like i thought, i'm 6 weeks prego! mostly Everyone around me says the same thing "I dunno if i should be happy or not for you, or to even say congrats..."
Why?
My lil Bryan turns 4 months today, is now teething, can sit up with assistance or pillow props, but not quite by himself yet, and because of a doc slip up, i'm prego.
Why?
Early August- Dr. Hughes put me on Tegretol for my bipolar while i was taking birthcontrol (Yaz)
Sep 13 - Doc flipped, changed my med to Invega because the Tegretol makes my birthcontrol NOT WORK, and said i needed to go get checked.
Oct 4- took 2 tests, both positive.
Oct 14 - Went to OBGYN, and there was no doubt about it! i even got a sonogram! the baby is 2mm big, and i'll get the sonogram up when i can!
Its hard for us right now, because My mom's the only income in the house and only makes 6.50 an hr, greg couldnt hold a job, and we finally cracked him to go get help cuz he's got too many signs of Bipolar and PTSD, so that way he has a chance, because he said he wants to get help so he can get better and support his family. As for me, i'm still waiting on a verdict on my disability case, because my court date was Jan 14, 2008, and still nothing. *sighs* now the living room will be VERY crowded because we only ahve a 2 room hosue, and both rooms arent big enough for a crib, let alone 2 cribs, so yeah, i really need a room added, lol.
Does anyone out there have info on government grants? i've researched but couldnt find anything...
and i think i'm gonna go for the target cards on here more than the home deopot cards now, lol. target has baby stuff.... (heh, i used my head)
But that's my news!! :D
Btw, Me, Greg, my mom, my very supportive cousin Christopher, and our best friends Ryan and Tosha couldnt be happier, as for everyone else, its gonna take time :)

There is a few things you can do about income, while you wait on disibility. You and your boyfriend can apply for what is called general relief at your local tanf, wefare office.. its not much but its something. Plus foodstamps and wic for food. For housing you can try applying for public housing. alot of the section 8 programs are closing except for boston i know has reopened its section 8 for october only.. you have to call and get the date.. anyway good luck
I'm sure it's a little overwhelming and gotta be kinda scary, but I know you'll do well!!!!
Dont get too upset at people who don't know what to say. Most people plan their children spaced out a little more, so people are probably unsure as to what to say, not knowing exactly what you're thingking about it.
Good luck
I hope everything works out well for you all~
Good luck with everything!
You might want to go over to the heath dept. and see what they have to offer....check out Babies Can't Wait...and Wic.
But, I DO HAVE FOODSTAMPS, WIC, AND MEDICAID.
we CAN NOT get tanif because the attorney general would make me file child support on Greg since i'm labeled as a "single" mother, and i cant do that, so that makes that go out the window (i already talked to my foodstamp office)
hugs 2 ya!!

Still stinks that the doctor slipped up (I mean, I'm so glad you're excited about baby #2... but if it was semi-unexpected....)
