Last night I had to do some errands in Vienna, which is the next town. They happened to have a Cold Stone Creamery, a Baskin Robbins, and a Noodles & Company all within 1 mile.
So I cashed in my free "Like It" (small size) birthday ice cream creation at Cold Stone, which I chose to have chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips.
Then I cashed in my free birthday noodle dish at Noodles & Company, which I chose my favorite Pesto Cavatappi with Parmasan Crusted Chicken topping.
Then I cashed in the free birthday scoop at Baskin Robbins, which I chose the Chocolate Fudge flavor. The cashier put one standard-sized scoop in the cup and was about to give the cup to me, but then he suddenly changed his mind, walked back to the dipping case, and added one extra scoop. Wow, I was so thrilled! It was really nice of him to do that.
The only problem was that I couldn't finish both ice cream cups, so I put them in the center cup holder and drove home. It turned out to be a dumb idea, because the ice cream melted by the time I got home, and overflew from the cup. I spent about 15 or 20 minutes wiping the melted chocolate ice cream off my front seats (cloth seats). I hope they won't stink!
But overall I had a lot of fun.
