This was our home away from home.

Nothing fancy, but comfy and cozy

With a nice view of the river

There are many caches hidden in this area. It was unseasonably cold and windy with intermittent rain, but we are hardy stock so we grabbed our slickers and set out to find treasure.
Our first quest led us to the area near the fire tower. It was a little dark and windy. It you are crazy enough to climb something like this

This is your reward

Shaken, but not stirred, we headed down into the forrest to find the treasure.

Eureka!

I decided to trade for this plastic snake to add to my collection. Who wouldn't want a plastic snake collection?

Stayed tuned for more hair raising adventures.

Did you go to the steak restaraunt? I've always wanted to take my two boys and see if they can eat the whole steak.
Didn't go to the steak restaurant. We had hoped to dine at Landolls Castle but the kitchen burned in May :-(
Marianne is to blame for getting me hooked on this hobby.
I get information for lodging at all of the Ohio State Parks here
