Those are really depressing numbers to see.

The stock market will probably remain volatile for several months at least. Don't get too sad at the downs and don't get too happy at the ups. Until people have a much better idea of our situation it will be difficult to stabilize the market. There are also the events in other nations which will definitely affect our markets.

Well, my prediction is that the bottom will be around 7,500, and just in time for election day.

I keep saying it and the McCain supporters ridicule me:

The stock market is just a house of cards.It doesn't take much to blow a few cards down!I feel sorry for the people that are banking on stocks for their retirement.

McCain wants to allow Social Security funds go into the stock market.

Is this the type of decision making we want in the White House??

I think that it's a contest to see how much money I can lose.

I'm losing money out the rear end, I'm not worried about Ayers, Rezko or Rev. Wright, Jessie Jackson, Michael Jackson, O.J.,Reggie Jackson or Michael Jordan. It's the economy stupid. McCain just doesn't get it.

65-70% of the federal budget is spent on entitlement social programs.The welfare share the wealth socialist policy have come home to roost. Social Security is bankrupt,medicaid, medicare,ssi,food stamps,drug programs,etc.etc.etc.. The welfare state has collapsed and failed miserably. Obama is only going to make it worse. Mc Cain not much better.You can confiscate all the money of the rich and we would still be broke. This country is broke and in debt due to corrupt politicians from both party's and the willingness to punish middle-class working families in favour of sending a meaningless check to a potential voter.
Politicians send a welfare check to a family in an amount that keeps the family in poverty,but all the checks over the years have amounted to Billions of dollars and these people are worse off now. If you think Obama is the answer,remember he is the king of check writing "spread the wealth" liberalism.
