FACT:  John McCain has voted 90% of the time with President George Bush and 100% this year.

John McCain voted to privatize social security (in 1998 and 2005).  He voted for NAFTA, The China Trade agreement (PTNR) and other trade agreements that hurt the American worker.

He voted to dismantle Medicare (2005, 2006).

He voted against Minimum Wage and the Free Choice Act.

He voted to give the wealthiest 1% a tax break.

John McCain voted against full funding for the Veterans Affairs Department (in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and against the 21st century Veterans Act in 2008).

He opposes a National Health Care Plan.

He opposes the Fair Pay Restoration Act for women.

He opposes a workers right to strike without being replaced.

And, John McCain walked across a union picket line to be on the Jay Leno show.

 

Barack Obama voted against tax cuts for the wealthiest 1%, not once but twice.

He voted to increase minimum wage.

He voted for the employee Free Choice Act.

He voted against privatizing social security.

He voted against unfair trade agreements.

He supports strengthening Medicare.

He supports the Fair Pay Restoration Act for women.

He supports full funding for Veterans Affairs Department and voted for the 21st Century Veterans Act.

He supports union rights to organize (Free Choice Act) and a workers right to strike without being permanently replaced. 

Barack Obama supports a National Health Care plan for U.S. Citizens.

 

John McCain supports multi-national companies which will result in more retirees losing their health care and more jobs being shipped out of our country.

Vote against the last 8 years. A vote for McCain means you approved, liked it, and want so more. Do not reward mediocrity. Vote for McCain and republicans will not learn that you don't mistreat your citizens and ask for their votes come election.

Don't care,I do not believe Obama and do not trust him as president. With McCain, I know what I am getting. Obama votes withPelosi 90 plus percent of the time, so what that what politicians do, they vote with their party, oh when Obama actually voted. Obama went to a church for 20 years, called pastor his spiritual mentor and then threw him under the bus when it began politically costly? Says a lot about the man! Then he accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars from a felon, gave $80,000 ACORN which registered Mickey Mouse to vote, and refused to visit the troops in Germany because the media wasn't allowed in. Instead, he spoke to a huge crowd of adoring Germans. Obama has changed his positions whenever the polls went the opposite way. He refuses to accept the fact the government is broke and he will not have the money to fufill all the promises he is making on the campaign trail, but then I always thought they were empty promises. Today he loves Israel becasue Florida has many Jewish voters,previously he agreed to meet with terrorists and supported groups that called for the exstinction of Israel. He is against free trade in public, but wink, wink, he tells the Canadians. He understands Main Street and hard times when he speaks on the stump, but behind clsoed doors, he calls us bitter gun toting rurals and says we are clinging to religion. A vote for McCain does not mean you approve of Georeg Bush! They are enemies and have always have been. It is Obamatron speak.

Uh-huh, union propaganda.

I would seriously check those facts out. I belong to a union and don't believe a word they say. I would get out of my union if I could but I don't have a choice. They take my money before I even see it.

Don't just vote against McCain and for Obama, vote AGAINST Bush and 8 years of his Republican mal-administration.

I am a representative voice of most of the rest of the world. Do the United States a favour and restore it's pride by voting the Republican party out of office. The rest of the world wants the United States to demonstrate that it is a compassionate country which cares about it's people and people throughout the world.

For the last 8 years Bush and his mal-administration have shown nothing but contempt for Americans and the rest of the world. They serve only themselves and the fat cats.

Vote to end this abuse of power. Vote the Republicans out of office this November and do us ALL a favour!

I don't know what union you belong to Lera, but I wouldn't work where I do without a union. The company doesn't care one bit about the workers. Yes, the union takes my dues before I see the money, too. It's no different than taking health care out of your check.

That is right, Lera. You can work there and NOT be part of the union. You will not get union representation, if needed, but maybe you don't need it.

As I first suggested two years ago, Barack Obama will become the 44th President of the United States and I am ecstatic. It's time, it's my time, it's our time. Not to delve too deep philosophically here, but heed my words: "I cannot carry the world on my shoulders, but on my shoulders, it is my world that must carry me."
