Skating

Last night was the first time my son got to go skating. It was a school night there. It was fun. When we got there, he didn't even know what the place was. It was adorable, I asked him if he knew where we were, he said no, maybe a bowling alley. Funny stuff. So we got our skates on. He was excited about that. We got onto the rink. He freaked out. Didn't know if he really liked the whole thing with falling. We finally got around the rink after a half hour. Then we sat down and watched his friends. After awhile I found these kids wearing fisherprice skates. So I got him some, as soon as those were on he was doing great. He says Mom I don't want you hands anymore, I'm a big boy. It was so cute. So after that was going on. He loved skating around the rink. We did the hoky pooky, which he loved. And he just had a blast. So my advice is, anyone that is taking thier kids skating for the first time try fisherprice skates. Gives them a ton of confidence.
