Did Bush serve as Palin's role model?

My daughter, who is an English-as-a-second-language specialist, pointed out something to me about the Biden-Palin debate that was held Oct. 2.


Several times Gov. Sarah Palin pronounced the word “nuclear” as “new-q-lar” and Iraq as “eye-rak.”


Oddly enough, both of these mispronunciations are the same as George Bush's. Could it be that she was prepped for the debate by listening to tapes of President Bush? Otherwise, it would be a very strange coincidence.

I think that a lot of Americans misprounce thse words. Hubby and I were talking last night about stuff like that. Though I have to say, for someone who is suposed to be well educated and in a position to take the helm if something happened to McCain, she really should know how to pronounce things properly!

I didn't know that she was well educated. I was under the impression she was a high school grad and maybe her parents had to buy the diploma. She certainly is not educated in political science.

Palin attended several colleges but it is hard to say whether any of them actually were successful at getting her to learn anything.

OK well she does not act educated but I can be wrong. I think maybe she could be a good political leader if she changed her neocon ways. She is popular she just has the wrong agenda.
