ODD, funny/stupid question

this is strictly because I found it funny/odd:

I came home early one day and my hubby was in the bathroom with the door wide open.  So I asked him why did didn't close the door and he said WHY no one was home.  I am not sure if I am a prude, too self concious, if it's force of habit, or what but I close the door.  But I realized it really is kind of funny - why should I close the door when I'm home alone? 

When you are home ALONE do you shut the door to the bathroom when you are in there? 

* all the way closed

* closed and locked

* partially open

* partially closed

* OPEN

 

LOL just too weird/funny had to ask.

I leave it open all the time, (well not if we have someone over visiting) not just when I am home alone. Altho I am never home completely alone, my 26month old is always here with me. She usually follows me into the bathroom and so I take that opportunity to try and get her to use her potty chair.

I rarely close the bathroom door. I have no idea why, but it's down the hall and no one can see in unless they come looking for me. DH is the only one here and he usually knows if I am in the bathroom. If I have company, then I close it.

I ALWAYS close the door...I don't want the dog wandering in....and what if someone decides to come early?

I don't close the door. I'm usually there alone, except for Maggie. Maggie will let me go to the bathroom by myself. (Maggie is my dog)
Part of the way, and then usually the cat comes and opens it the rest of the way. She can't stand for me to close it completely, especially if no one else is at home, because she just cries and tries to open it, throws herself against it, lol, so no, I can't close it completely.

When I was living alone I never used the door. I have my own bathroom in my bedroom and I rarely close that door either.

LOL, I have actually wondered at times why I close the door when no one's home, but I always do. More out of habit than anything. Our bathroom cannot be seen by anyone unless they are standing right in front of the doorway in the hall. But I still close it. I guess I don't like sitting there in the wide open.

When I'm home alone I usually don't close it at all. If I am expecting someone to stop by I will close it halfway, since some family members will just walk in if they know I'm home.

Probably habit coming from a large family plus my own, but I always close it without thinking about it. Not to mention uninvited furry friends may be dropping in... my dogs, LOL.
if I am home alone I leave the door wide open.......
I mean it's only me at home at the time....
so no big deal.............

now that it's off the bedroom instead of the living room (YAY!) it just doesn't matter...

once went to deliver a pizza and the guy was taking a leak in his bathroom with the door wide open - directly across from his front door which was ALSO wide open ... and he lived right downtown, too. AND he didn't bother to pull his jeans up before he turned around either.

His momma must be SO proud.

Okay, I'm going to comment but I'm going to delete my comment in a few days because it's a little wierd. Hubby never closes the door unless company's here. So, sometimes I forget to close it...once I forgot to close it when my sister was here. With her reaction, you would have thought I had broken the law or something.
