Review: The Love Guru

I rented this movie Saturday night . I figured I needed a good laugh. I have always liked Austin Powers raw sense of humor. This was a lot like his Austin Powers movie in that way. The comedy was amusing and had a lot of adult humor.

This movie had several cameo roles by famous actors and actresses. It was starring : Mike Myers, Jessica Alba, and Justin Timberlake to name a few. Pitka an American boy raised in another country by guru's decides to return to the states so that he can start his own self help service. He is hired by Jane (Jessica Albas character ) to help a professional hockey player get his wife back from a rival hockey player played by Justin Timberlake. Jane is the owner of the team who is hated and cursed by the teams players.

First time Pitka lays his eyes on Jane he feels love at first sight. Can he over come all the obstacles, help the hockey player, and lose his chastity belt? Can Jane get her grove back and win over all the hockey fans? Can Pitka find love? Will Pitka succeed in getting professional hockey player Darren Roanoke back with the love of his life?
