Why beg?
"Vision is understanding the past, the future and your role in both."
understanding the past?
ok the past....republicans have screwed the economy
that's the past
the future and my role in it...Obama/Biden is the future
my role in it?
keeping right wing sell outs like you
from hurting people.
you support his stance on education when some of our inner city schools don't even have text books
you support his views on the economy
you support his stance on gun control when it's inner cities that are plagued with violence.
you are not concerned that McCain had never voiced an interest over the atrocities in the Sudan.
why do you support him James Harris
that is why I called him "Uncle James"
He is a sell out
sell out for money
Personally don't see how the GOP platform reflect the views of most African Americans but that's just me. And no I don't know of any African Americans voting for McCain personally. I also voted for several White candidates who have ran against African Americans because the it just happened the White candidate were a better reflection of my political views.
Lera M.,
no, If he wants to support McCain because he fundamentally differs with the other guy.
Then no
he is not a sell out
but to go against the best person the democratic party has put up there
since Bill Clinton
just so he can pander to a radio audience
then yes
he's a sell out
From the first episode of the cartoon:
Granddad: N----, if you ruin this party for me, I'll put my...
Huey: Ruin the party? They love me. These people aren't worried about us. They're not worried about anything. They're rich. No matter what happens, these people just keep applauding.
Uncle Ruckus: Attention please. Attention please. My name is Uncle Ruckus, no relation. I want to sing y'all a brand new song I just wrote called "Don't Trust Them New N*ggers Over There". Sing along if you know the words.
[sings]
Uncle Ruckus: Don't trust them new n*ggers over there / Leaving they n*gger essence in the air / Them happy, nappy head n*ggers / With they finger on the trigger / Don't trust them new n*ggers over there / Don't trust them big nostrils over yonder / They suck up so much air it'll make you wonder / Don't them new n*ggers / With they spidey little n*gger figures / Don't trust them new n*ggers over there.
[falls off stage]
Rich Woman: I think the N-word is OK as long as they say it.
[crowd applauds]
Huey: See?
(Ruckus dreams he has died and gone to heaven.)
Ronald Reagan: White Heaven is for decent, good, God-fearing Christians who just happen to, well, hate everyone and everything relating to black people. That means no Muhammad Ali, no hip-hop music and no f*cking Jesse Jackson.
Uncle Ruckus: What about Whoopi Goldberg?
Ronald Reagan: Nope.
Uncle Ruckus: Ohhh! This *is* Heaven!
Yes, we sometimes find an Uncle Ruckus in the real world. Aaron MacGruder draws his stories from life.
and where I've been
To have been given so much in the form of love and kindness over the years
I do unto others the way I want others to do me.
See, that's what's so screwy with the McCain campaign. It's all about I, I, I, I, ME ME ME ME...Bomb...bomb...bomb...bomb...
Maybe McCain would make an interesting pope; well, at least one who's afternoon entertainment included whoever was being tortured by the Inquisition. Did I say Gitmo?

Gallup Daily: Obama-McCain Gap NarrowsObama leads, 50% to 43%
Danielle P.,
Yes and I love everyone
but that won't stop me from pointing out idiotic behavior
18-24 year olds use cell phones
polls are good
but the real story will be told nov 5
it's not that he is a republican
it's that he's down in front
with a microphone doing something
outrageous to attract people to his radio show.
that's what this post is all about.
Your pocket book won't matter then... look at the Himalyas and their snow covered peaks...almost gone.. the Alps... Killamanjaro .. this is water... the numbers of people lacking water in India.. around the world.. the oceans rising.. our own ability to grow crops in this country..severe storms.. this is what the Republican Party furthered and has allowed to happen..
Where are we all going to live? It will take a huge effort of will and passion to save things...and it won't happen with another eight years of republicans. A lot of the damage already done will be bringing us a lot of trouble for many years to come and I think those who voted republican in future will realize what they have done to themselves, their loved ones, to everyone on Earth.
We are the most powerful nation on earth. We have to take repsonsibility to use that power wisely.
This last administration did nothing for anyone but a handful of people.. even their own party and its members have been abandoned. This is going down as the darkest moment in American history.. a subverted constitution, a corrupt Supreme Court, a bloodless coup for the president actually elected never took office. That is much ignored.
Also.. a republican leadership in the white house that did not like a report by a govt official
(who turned out to be republican himself!!!) and so got even by leaking to the a reporter that the mans wife was a CIA operative.. she was in deep cover and revealing meant that people she worked with around the world were revealed too and some of them died.. and her job? she was on the frontline stopping real terrorists from hitting us and she was betrayed... our nation was betrayed.. and the climate and environment in that White House allowed and encouraged that to be done. This was treason if you get down to it.
So though McCain as a man might be decent enough and though he has taken an independant stance (at times from Bush) we can't afford to allow at this crucial time in history another eight years of republicans.
As for this man Uncle James.. I do not know him.. but any african american person who supports the republican party is nuts, betraying themselves and their own people and the rest of their relations (meaning humanity, plants, animals, Mother Earth).
Obama is the only choice unless we want to see the planet or the quality of life on it and many human beings and animals destroyed by global warming.

The guy wa just using this as an oppurtunity to gain publicity for his own talk radio show.
Thank you
Just an observation.
Oh and Ann G. if you check out the "pork" it was to get Republicans to vote for the bill most was for Republican interests...
:O\
Georgiana S.,
nah, it's not personal
money
it's all about money
he gets people talking on his radio show
more listeners
means more advertising
more advertising
means more money
:O\
What will they yell about after the election?
I grew up in washington county PA
route 19 south of Pittsburgh
I firmly believe that
We find comfort from those who agree with us
and Growth from those who don't
I don't regret inviting you
nor do I regret having you as a friend
I have more friends that don't agree with me than not
I learned that from my father,
surrounding yourself with yes-men
is the quickest way to the poor house!
