Hey Gather people - are you on MyLot too?

Hi there.

I'm trying to become more active at all my online money making places so I can help make our mortgage payment and tonight I remembered MyLot!

I have been a member over there for years so I just signed in and have $0.00 earnings, LOL. I was never active over there at all though because I found the site confusing and scattered so I just stuck with Gather and never gave it a shot.

Should I give MyLot a shot now? Are any of you on MyLot -- if so, how much money do you make over there on average each month?

Hi I am Shaun72 in mylot. I finally reached payout this past week after 3 months but of course I go back and from from gather and mylot both. I'm noT doing the greatest myself but it helps.

I just starting mylot two weeks ago. I have sent you a friend request from bostonterrio. I am not sure if I care for the site much. So far I have made 8 cents.

I'm on mylot as well, although I Gather a lot more, it seems to be worth my time here where as mylot I just get on late at night after Gather has died down.

I joined mylot a couple years ago, when I was working in the lab and bored up the wazoo. I would concentrate my time on other things if it is cash you wanted to make, you dont get much out of that site.

I used to be over there,and made 10$ after a month and left,however I got the money so they are legit..but it was boring,and pretty much took forever to rack any real money up I found it to be redundant

I'm over there, but it isn't a good site to make money on. They pay approximately $0.01/post, so you would have to spend a lot of time on there to even make $1/day.

Hi J, I have been a member for over two years and I've cashed out many times. But, recently, I have been busy over on Platinum Lounge and here and have gotten paid a lot more for a lot less work it seems. I still post there a little bit, but I am a long ways from getting paid there right now.

I'm on mylot, were even friends over there.

I don't usually post discussions since that means responding and basic upkeep...I can't be bothered.

I do however respond to discussions, a few a day tops. Long responses with good grammer and punctuation. I usually am able to cash out for 10- 15 bucks a month and I don't even work at it.

Posting a ton of discussions one after another is a waste of energy but so many people do it, then complain about not making pay out. why should mylot pay for "what color are your eyes", "do you like pizza"...etc ya know?

Just have fun, respond to interesting discussions with reasonably thought out answers and you'll be able to make atleast a few extra bucks. :)

I am close to a payout this month at mylot - I have a little over a dollar to earn, I earn about 30 to 40 cents per day, but I'm not very active - about 10 to 20 posts at most per day.

I have had an account at MyLot for a couple of years now , but I have never really done much with it . I cashed out once the first year , and the second year I did even less, my one active ref earned most of points for me . I only have 345 posts .( combination of responses and my own discussions ) I know there are others from Gather that have 1000's of posts. It may be boring but at least they pay you . I have lost track of how many paid to read email programs I was part of back around 2001-2004 where there were 100's and before I could cashout they had gone out of business. Adpaid and Inboxdollars are two oldies that are still around and never fail to pay .

I'm there - kenzie45230. But it takes way too much work. It took 2 months for me to get the first $10 pay out. Since then, I've gotten $10 a month, but I usually work really hard the last week because I'll be at maybe $9.50ish and getting that last 50 cents seems to take forever. Here I can get $10 a week without any problems and more if I push. Last week I got $20 here.

I don't like the attitude over there. Some members say they won't connect with anyone with less than 200 posts. Some say 500. Some members say they won't comment on anyone with less than 200 posts. Give me a break.

There are also some self-appointed MyLot police. The rules say you're not supposed to post items that are copied. That makes sense. But these folks get mad if you post something with the same topic.
