My Trip to the octoberfest in Munich, Germany in 1997

I went thru my Pictures today and found a bunch to put on here. This set is a few of the octoberfest in Munich in 1997. I had a bunch more, but i must have lost them in the Tornado.

that's cool...a couple of days ago I ran across a squidoo lens about Oktoberfest. I commented that it looked like way too much drinking to me LOL

Wow, I think Munich would be a very beautiful place to visit! Those are incredible photos! I told hubby that we should consider some trips overseas.........our son has already been to Spain (in March) and next spring to Italy......it's only fair that Mom and Dad get to go someplace.........well, we have been to the Bahamas, but that's not very far away!!!!!

It is one wild party isn't it? lol We were there in 1970. There was a young couple laying on the lawn and they weren't just making out! lol I fixed them, I took their beer stines! hehehehhee They didn't need anymore beer! LOL!

We have been to Germany, several times, had a brother who was stationed there. The Octoberfests are simply wonderful, along with the "foksmarches" in the countryside. Thanks for bringing back good memories of Germany.
