The real key to making money through collectibles is expertise. You must know what your are doing or someone who does will sell you the proverbial "pig in a poke." Before you decide to risk any of your money in collectibles, focus on one area (cards, stamps), read all you can about it, practice with "pretend" funds, and then start small.
