 SORRY EVERYONE!!  I ORIGINALLY POSTED THIS AND IT IS A HOAX.  ELLIE LOOKED IT UP AND IT IS ON SNOOPS AS BEING A HOAX!!

I got this from our Northwest Neighborhood Association.  Apparently it will work all over the country.  Type in your address and you will find your neighborhood.  Red balloons and pins mark the address of a convicted felon.  Hover your mouse over an icon & not only will the name come up, but also the crime for which they were convicted.

I live in a nice area and there are 3 convicted child molesters in a 5 mile radius. Scary.

I tried this and I tried my address, my old address and my parents' address. It can't "find" any of these addresses!

I was looking for felons near 21 Pennsylvania Ave but discovered that the District of Columbia wasn't available. Too bad. :)

I didn't use my real address in any of the searches I did.

We got a post card tacked onto our front window in Arizona notifying us that a convicted sex offender moved into G guilding (we were in E building) of our complex. I was very thankful for the spike on the end of my cane, when I would walk across the street to the cafe.

Danielle I liove in small town gettysburg, SD. We know of two murderers who were not convicted. We know the "druggies", the vandals, the who will become criminals. Don't feel any safer though knowing.
