gotta love those yard sales!

I quit going to sales....have way too much junk of my own......I've even been throwing lots of books, papers, etc....in the garbage....we got brand new HUGE blue recycling bins from the City so I told the guys that's a good way to get rid of books that are no good and all sorts of stuff.
The only stuff like that that we DO go to is a few choice thrift stores.
We rented a huge dumpster already (paid $225 for 10 days), and we filled it in the blink of an eye. I think we're going to rent another dumpster later this month.
We want to almost empty the house and are going to totally remodel the interior and have a "new" house!!!!! I am soooo excited!!!!! (Well, once we get the new pickup truck for hubby, that is!).
Sounds like you had fun at those sales.....I don't think we have Headstart around here in our city.

Looks like a great day! Our town had a town wide yard sale last weekend. I wanted to participate but hubby didn't. He won. Instead I went to the church up the street and bought a book for 50 cents.

Our town has a yearly town wide yard sale every year.people come from all over the near by towns and some come all the way from Omaha .

This looks like fun. I'd love to browse through these goodies. Pricing is the longest task, but sitting at the sale, talking with people is relaxing and fun.

I love yard sales, once I had a Furniture store new and used, I would go to yards and buy small pieces of furniture and resell it I liked that.

Yard sales are great

I have not been to a yard sale or anything in a long time. I would like to try to go to some really soon, if I can get this anxiety down. It sounds like the one ya''ll were at was fun and that you got a good deal on some books just added to the fun I am sure.

What a great idea to sponsor that for all the parents! It's a fantastic thing to do with everyone :)

This sounds like a really fun time. From the pictures, I would say the weather looked pretty good too.
