After 8 days of Ayers, it seems that the McCain camp is moving on to something else. Not the economy, not the housing prices, not energy. That are all losing propositions according to McCain advisers.
Today at 1PM, McCain's surrogates with have a press conference where they will tie Obama to ACORN. Rick Davis, the guy who was on Fannie May's payroll for $30,000 a month will lead the presser. This lobbyist, McCain's campaign manager, will try to make another lie stick.
After that, they will tie Obama to the dead Saddam Hussein. Don't ask me how. Maybe when Obama went to college someone else at Columbia was from Iraq while Saddam was ruling the place. Hence the connection. With that middle name, no doubt it.
If fact, Obama has two middle name. He is hiding his original birth certificate that shows that his real name is Barack Ayers ACORN Hussein Obama. There you have it. It's all in the middle names. He has the bloodlines, as one McCain supporter in Ohio said. Bloodline of terrorists, voter frauders, dictators, everything.
After Saddam Hussein, George Bush shall be next. "Americans don't like Bush. Why not give it a try? We are running out of ideas and time here folks."
"How about Jesse Jackson. Obama said McCain sounded like Jesse Jackson. Why don't we use that? Obama is talking about Bush. It's working. He said Jesse. Let's stop thinking because clearly our ideas are bad. Let's wait for Obama to mention anyone who has bad ideas and tie that person back to him. What do you think about that? Huh?"

Listen yourself. Educate youself. That board where Ayers was sitting included a close friend of Ronald Reagan. The woman who now chairs the board, whose family name bears the board is a McCain donor and has endorsed McCain this week. McCain posted the endorsement on his site, touted it on a press conference. Why isnt McCain bothered by Mrs. Annenberg (the Annenberg Board of Bill Ayers) association with Bill Ayers? Why would McCain and the RNC take her money? She is a republican donor.
If you didn't like the last 8 years vote for Obama. It is that simple. No dirty politics required. Get it done and vote early.

Your statement struck home with me, Jared, and caused me to think of Obama's associates, on something I posted elsewhere.
Caused me to think of Farrakhan, and convicted felon Tony Rezko! And Unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers! And the race-baiting Rev. Jeremiah Wright! It is hard to think of any presidential candidate before Barack Obama sporting associations with four more execrable characters. Yet let the McCain campaign raise the issue, and the mainstream media begin fulminating about dirty campaigning tinged with racism and McCarthyite guilt by association.
Associations are important. They provide a significant insight into character. They are particularly relevant in relation to a potential president as new, unknown, opaque and self-contained as Obama.
Obama found these characters useful and use them,he did. He played the game with everyone without qualms and obvious success. Obama clearly did not consider these views beyond the pale. For many years he swam easily and without protest in that fetid pond.
For me, personally, and for the reasons cited above, Obama's character remains highly suspect, but you're right, you know a lot about a person by his associates. Oh now that Obama is a candidate and campaigning, he's trying to distance himself from them, but the message is there, loud and clear.
It's obviously one of the rightwing talking points that came from one of the many rightwing think tanks, funded by the likes of Scaiffe and Murdoch, among others. Whenever you hear these propagandists and politicians all saying the exact same words, you know that they came directly from one of these twisted, sickphuck rightwing think tanks.
