Movie Review: Semi Pro

My husband really likes Will Ferrell movies. He finds them hilarious. I don't usually enjoy them anywhere NEAR as much as he does. Semi Pro was no exception. I found the whole movie rather boring, and the humor not really all that funny. And I'm sorry but will someone tell Will that he really looks BAD naked? I think it almost every movie there is some sort of shot of him with hardly any clothes on, and frankly, it makes me want to puke! TONE up or stop showing off the good Will PLEASE!

Rick and I have watched all of Will's fake sports movies I think... it's weird that it seems like I haven't liked any of them.

For anyone who is a Will Ferrell fan, I'm sure you will love this movie if you like his other cheesy sports movies. I just don't see that they are all that funny. In my book I think I would give this film a 5 out of 10 stars. I'm just glad that we rented it from RedBox instead of buying it because I don't think I will ever want to watch it again!

I've never thought Will Ferrell was all that funny. My sisters just love him though.

I am not a Will Ferrell fan. DD thinks he's funny, but he just bores me.

I'm not a Will Ferrell fan. He doesn't creep me out the way Adam Sandler does, but he doesn't impress me either.

I liked Will Ferrell in his SNL days, but in movies he just seems to be TOO MUCH for me to take. I have no desire to see this movie and glad to hear I'm not missing out on anything great. Thanks for the review.

I never have understood the appeal of Will Ferrell. Not even in his SNL days. (Those cheerleader skits weren't funny at all._

I'm like you. The humor is just not funny to me. At some point it becomes torture to continue to watch. But, my husband also thinks the guy is hilarious.

I have liked very few of his movies. I like cheesy movies everyonce in a while but most of the time his brand of cheese is a bit less to my liking. Thanks for the review
