I'd heard this. He represents old politics, Bush policies and business as usual in DC. We need change. We need Obama.

But we the people will vote in November and tell them what WE think.

He should be toast. He is a coward. Early in the campaign they said they did not want to drag their kids into the campaign. Yesterday, his wife used their son to make a political point, blaming Obama for not voting on funding. McCain also did not vote for funding when he did not like the bill. But that's called republican hypocrisy: if I call you out first, you can't use that issue.

Oh yes. He doesn't want to bring the kids into the campaign, except for blond Barbie who I thought was about thirteen when I read her blog but turns out she is really 23. My guess is the older kids don't want to be associated with him and there is another reason he doesn't want us to see the younger daughter. Does it make sense to parade Palin's entire brood of toddlers and infants on stage and not McCain's 16-year-old? Has anyone seen her?

Neil, I would have been devastated if I had heard my father tell a lie or seen him treat anyone on earth the way John McCain has treated Barack Obama. I would have wanted to die if I thought my father was ashamed of me or embarrassed to be seen with me. So my heart breaks for all his kids, but especially for that daughter, who is surely old enough and intelligent enough to understand why she is being hidden.

The economists are part of this but, even if someone puts the kids out front, lets leave them out of this. The spotlight on them is not of their making and the criticisms that come with it are frequently unfair. Even our sympathies remind them that they have a bullseye on them.

Debra, that would be fine with me if it were applied across the board. McCain doesn't get to parade Palin's litter for gain and hide his own, or use insinuate that Barack Obama is responsible for an adult brother that he might have met once or twice in his life, or to hold Obama responsible for what his parents did or named him, and dig into every aspect of his life unless he is willing to release the Viet Nam records that he fought so hard to have sealed, expose his own family and friends, etc. He can't have it both ways.

McCain was "toast" before, but he's still in it. I think it does look like he's "toast" now, but this has been a very strange race. He seems "self-defeating," often, and Obama has seized on the "eratic" label, which McCain's played into. Still, it's not over until it's over, and it's not over yet. I think the results may be closer than it looks right now.

With the economy is the number one issue most Americans are facing. You'd think Obama would have this election hands down. Oh well. A girl can dream. Still 4 more painstakingly long weeks to go. And hopefully it won't lead to for more 4 years of the same, whomever wins.

Stephanie, I agree - four more years like this would be bad enough, with McCain. However, nothing can hold a candle to what will happen to us all if Obama is elected. Remember "blowback"? Bit time - just mark my words.

I've voting Third Party - only decent people running for POTUS are in those parties. Ron Paul said to vote Chuck Baldwin, there that's my vote.

I am working for you and this country - you are supporting a candidate who is self-serving as well as a liar. Now, I consider that word a four letter word - but very appropriate here.

If this country is stupid enough to elect, here's some of his catch phrases:
1) Things have changed and there must be a tax increase because the 1% paying 50% of the taxes is just not enough to support global warming, global poverty, the U.N., the new war.
2) People say things in the heat of the moment they don't mean. NAFTA is fine the way it is.
3) When I said, "I am my brother's keeper and I am my sister's keeper"; well folks, that costs money and anyone who has a job left will need to contribute 60-70% of that income.
4) Universal health is much costlier than anticipated, excluding the obvious fraud. Someone has to pay - so be a good American and give, give, and give until there is none left.
5) You know I studied Constitutional Law, so I know how to work around it. That one last thread of the Constitution and that Second Amendment, gun control, has got to go. It's is everyone's best interests.
5) WE know was slave labor was, not get used to it.
6) Oh, Rex 84? Those staffed and ready FEMA concentration camps are so we can use those extra tax dollars to employ U.N. troops. Someone has got to protect us from Patriots and Home Grown Terrorists!
7) Well, I guess FISA was updated and eliminated prosecution of those listening before it was legal because we know they were listening in to phone calls home from our servicemen to their wives and girlfriends and having phone s*x. Those pesky whistle-blowers should know we can do what we want!
8) The illegal bail-out was necessary so we could Nationalize the Banks.
9) The Secy. of Treasury is not the ONLY dictator, didn't they tell you?
10) The financial ruin of the U.S. and forming the North American Union was the only way to go to complete the New World Order - we had no choice! And the Amero. Sorry, 2 cents on the dollar is the all we can afford. No more Canadian Dollars or Pesos - just Amero. It's for the good of the people.
11) So your minimum wage is about 15 cents in Ameros.
