Yesterday our water got turned off. I called my husband at work crying. This is just plain crazy......And my husband wonders why I can't stand my in laws. Gee-sh! My husband had to do a bunch of calling around to see what is going on.
The person my husband talked to tried to say we did not pay the bill in July. I grabbed my handy calender to July and showed my husband and had him read off the confirmation number. Also showed him where it was paid in august. I always pay the bill in full. So, not paying one month because in laws gave us the bill late should not of gotten the water shut off. We was able to pay the water bill which was only 62 bucks over the phone and get it turned back on yesterday.
We will be officially moving next week. But I can not live a week with no running water. That's insane with all the extra cleaning and such I have to get done by time we move. I have been busy packing all week as well. Even today in between the rainstorms
Thankfully the water was turned on with in an hour of my husband calling. It took some of the stress away. I can't wait til we get moved. A lot of the in law problems will disappear.

again smile I know you are after reading the last comment I made
One more week until you move, YEAH!
Robyn,
I am pretty sure my in laws turned it off. But can't prove it. I figure I am not here much longer. So, I am letting it roll off my shoulders. Sure it bothered me. But my husband got right on it and took care of.
The house I am moving to has well water as well. I have had it in the past. So, no biggie. I am use to well water.
I'm glad the water is back on & that you will be out of there very soon~
