Obama Watch 08' Update:

So, I posted an Article last night titled: Obama Watch 08'

Which I said that Obama was coming to my area to make a speech at my local university.

and I really wanted to go, unfortunately I could not find a ride into town today, so I won't be able to see him in person. I'm pretty bummed about it, and that means no Obama Rally Photo essay I had planned....ah, well.

The Local new's channel however said they would be covering it live on thier "WebChannel" so I guess I'll watch it on the internetz from the comfort of my living room. If anyone wants to catch the speech here is a link to the "WebChannel" ---- WSAZ The Rally is scheduled to start around 7:30PM EST.

Anyway so I'm pretty bummed, but oh well, im getting ready to head out and grab a bite to eat..so I'll catch y'all later.

I'm sorry your ride fell through, but you'll have a much better view from the comfort of your home!

I agree with Kathy about the view particularly if the even is being held outside. You should also be able to better hear what is being said.

I attended a Biden rally a couple of weeks ago that was attended mainly by suburban families. Even though there were plenty of loudspeakers sprinkled throughout the grounds, the din created by the crowd frequently drowned out whoever was speaking.
