My father never did the cooking when I was growing up--I am the youngest of 6.
But when he retired he became the "chef" and starting collecting recipes and writing them on recipe cards. On October 24, 1994 he passed away. That Christmas my sister made a scrapbook of his recipe cards for all of us. She included photos, funny stories also.
The memories that were stirred were unbelievable. Just to see his handwriting again was so overwhelming.
If anybody is looking for a unique Christmas gift, try this type of scrapbook.
If I have time later this week I will try and take pictures of it and post them.
Have a good day!

I would love to do something like this with some of my mom's recipes!
Is it hard to do?
here is the sight www.storiesbyeveryone.com
You can play around with it now --I found it very easy to do.
