Most everyone wants to save money, I know that I do.  Do you have any tips, tricks or techniques that work for you?

I coupon like crazy! I go to hotcouponworld.com to find great coupon matchups for the local grocery stores. I also shop on the clearance racks for my kids' clothing...get the great name brands, but pay very little!

I've not seen this coupon site, I will check it out.

My 15yo daughter and I regularly shop thrift stores. She has made some fabulous finds such as Lucky Brand, Ab & Fitch and Seven jeans etc for under $10.00

We freecycle a lot. We don't get or even need new clothes very often. We use coupons. We are opening windows instead of using the ac. We don't drive anywhere except as needed and that is once a week - maybe. We are hanging our clothes out to dry instead of usind the dryer. And in general - just planning and thinking of other ways to save.

Alta, these are great things to do. You are going green as well as saving money! I'm not driving much these days myself but I am walking more. The library is less than a mile away and I go there twice a week to get books.

I do a lot of couponing and I also shop ebay, especially for seasonal items like Halloween costumes and kids clothes.

Kathy, I use to shop ebay a lot but the shipping became so expensive. I do utilize craigslist quite a bit.

I use coupons like crazy! I agree with Sarah about HotCouponWorld. They really are a good resource. I also browse for coupons and deals on slickdeals.net.

I tend to thrift shop for books and clothes. It seems like no matter what is in my wardrobe, I always need something else (i.e., more sweaters due to working, for a time, in an overly air conditioned office).

Making dinners at home and stopped buying crap foods (meaning only fresh fruits, veggies, meats) no junk food.
