Landoll's Castle

On a cool, damp day my husband and I visited Landoll's Castle and the mist hanging over the forrest and grounds added to the fantasy.


This popular resort and tourist attraction is located just a few miles from Mohican State Park in Loudonville, Ohio. We did not stay in one of the suites which I hear are furnished with jacuzzis, wet bars and heated bathroom floors. I do not know the rates but I've heard that if you have to ask, you can't afford them.






It is easy to see why this is a popular location for weddings





I fell in love with this birdhouse bench and wished I could take it home.




As you can see, Central Ohio has begun to change colors and it won't be long until the hills surrounding this castle are ablaze with spectacular fall foliage.

That's Beautiful Kay. I love the photo essay. I wish I could go there it sounds amazing, but I would have to ask and there for I already know what the answer to that is. That statue was magical looking.
The bird-house bench looks cute, but I'd be worried sitting on it.
people say it's good luck when a bird gose ... on someone, but i've already had more than my share and I'm still waiting. :)
