Shortly after I got back from visiting my grandmother on Sunday, we had some very deer visitors....
They were quite dear.
Amazingly eno

ugh, they were willing to demonstrate how photogenic they are.
It was a very good visit.

Patricia, they actually seemed to be. It was weird that they actually allowed me to get that close. They didn't bother bolting until I started to leave. Weird deer....
William, I prefer to do my hunting with the camera. I'll leave the bringing down of menacing moose and such to others....
Marge, thank you.
Aimee, I'm glad that you like them.
Tanya, so do I.
LOl
nice shots..
Your photos are just lovely.
If I would've had better lighting the other evening, I would've had some even better shots of some of the local deer.
I never did the hunting except for food, that was necessary to feed my family. Plus raising a garden to have veggies. I now have to cook from cans a lot.
Donald - you need some WD40 in that hinge!
Ginny, this is definitely my way of "shooting" deer. I don't eat venison, so they are quite safe from me.
Norma, no squeaky doors here, but I honestly don't know how I've gotten so close to them. In order to get these shots, I had to walk over to the barn; they had plenty of opportunity to bolt. I'm not that stealthy-- especially not in boots (my preferred footwear when stomping around here).
Happy Halloween. Hope you have a great weekend.
