Whether you plan to vote for McCain or Obama, I urge you to get into prayer over the next few weeks before the election to ask God who He wants you to vote for and be willing to do what He impresses upon you. After all, as Christians, our lives are not our own. Jesus paid a heavy price for us. The least we can do is stop and listen to what He says about the election. Believe me, if you'll honor Him by asking, He'll find a way to get the answer across to you if you genuinely want to know.
And don't just pray for the Presidential office, either. The elections concerning our legislative branch of House of Representatives and Senators are almost more crucial than that of the President because without their backing, it won't matter who is President. It will be a stale mate.
Please pray about who you are to vote for from God's perspective not yours. Also, pray about your local elections because they can be just as crucial and immediate because those elections will have the most urgent impact on our lives. In addition, check out who is running for judge in your area and pray about those elections. Local and state judges have a great deal of impact on our country, as evidenced in California.
Please pray and listen for what God has to say before you vote. The Bible says to choose this day whom you will serve. I choose to serve the One Who died for me. What's your choice?

I don't think there's going to be a burning bush appear between now and election day that will change my mind.
