Socks With Sandals?

British Vogue is touting the newest craze - socks with sandals. These kind of remind me of those ankle braces you have to wear when you hurt yourself - not cute at all!  What do you think?  Has fashion gone too far with its extreme focus on accessories this season? Is it totally trendy or just plain ridiculous? Would you wear socks with sandals?

LOL I had to laugh because my grandmother always wears one of those nylon peds with her sandals. I'll have to tell her she's currently in fashion

that is just STUPID !!!!!

If your stupid little skinny ankles are that cold, wear pants and socks. LOL

These fashion designers are all trying to be edgier than the last one and they are getting crazy.

they look more like leg warmers or ankle warmers than sox, seeing as how they don't cover the feet. Very silly idea.

I think they look stupid. Then again if you have ugly ankles maybe it's a good thing. Hmmm, they could make a matching sock to go over their head too. =D

Since I wear birkies year-around (including in snow), I wear socks with them at times. I'm not sure the pictured socks would serve any purpose beyond the ornamental.

This looks horrible! As we are going into winter season pretty quick, not particularly practical here in the midwest.
