I still have an exhibition in Castle d'Este this winter and an exhibition in NY next spring with professional gallerists, but 2 more with someone I did not suspect at the begining became a waiste of time and a case of justice and saving other artists to be further victims.
She took a serious money for a 4 moths exhibition in Vienna and participation of her gallery to Los Angeles Art show. I got suspicious when she asked us to buy more space for the LA show and she started being alltogether inconsequent. After which she came up with excuses about mis-print and how hard are other gallerists with her but she is succesfull and bla, bla. I asked then the LA art show organisation and I was told no gallery should take money from the artists before bhaivng the LA answer. After a month they confirm that she has not been taken on ut she told us she will rturn us the money after she will get it back from LA, but she never gave it to them. She did not admited even that she is not in. She did not admited that she has no exhibition in vienna at the time. She ended up complaining that I am harashing her with my questions and said to my prtner that her lawyer will return the money for her and not to disturb her any more. I will ask now a lawewyer to send ehr a letter but I know that we shall be getting anywhere. I wil have to send material to Satchi online and to the association of artists in Vienna, to take notice and wexclude her, at least to save future victims from her tricks. But, of course she migth just disapepar soon and start over elsewhere with different name. Appart of all that she costs me time and energy that I need for my other exhibitions. I eman this con-artist, is in Saatchi on line. The Association of Austrian galleries does not have her among their members, but they do not help me either to get our money back or to stop her from presenting herself as a serious, trastfull professional.
