Everything seems to be fine. She sprained the quad muscle where it attaches to the kneecap, and likely had a small blood vessel break, hence the swelling. They sent us on our way with some motrin, some quad exercizes Rae will have to do over the next few days, and orders to get a knee brace.

Only, Meijers and Walmart don't carry knee braces small enough for her. They said just an elastic sports type brace, so we improvised for tonight with a regular wrap around ace bandage.

It doesn't appear to me that everything is fine with Raegan if she's having difficulty walking, but I'm sure that it will be.

This certainly must have been a dreadful experience for her. Hopefully, the wait at the emergency room wasn't long.

The good news is that she doesn't have a broken bone or something that would result in a permanent disability.
