Lame duck Sarah Palin, apparently desperate to throw attention off her, is now saying Obama buddys with terrorists. This is a sad and lame attempt to throw Obama into the negativity spotlight to make herself look better. Obama who once worked with Bill Ayers, one of the founding members of a 60's radical group called The Weather Undergroud, on a charity board, has stated that he did not share his coworkers views.
Palin got her information apparently from a New York Times article which discussed Obama and his ties to Ayers. I guess she ignored what else the article had to say.
"A review of records of the schools project and interviews with a dozen people who know both men, suggest that Mr. Obama, 47, has played down his contacts with Mr. Ayers, 63. But the two men do not appear to have been close. Nor has Mr. Obama ever expressed sympathy for the radical views and actions of Mr. Ayers, whom he has called 'somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8.'"
Seems if she cant beat them with her vast interview skills, she will find stories within stories to make her party look better. She had gained some respect from me at her debate with Biden, but after this I have even less than I had before. Go home hockey mom. You have about as much use as a never emptied porta potty and the garbage coming out of your mouth smells of the same quality.

It is probably their only remaining hope, yet is expected to backfire, because so many people dislike that sort of campaigning.
The neoconservatives, of course, will eat it up, but, then, they're already anti-Obama anyway. It is expected to push the remaining undecided voters further from McCain.

You can expect that type of literacy from internet bloggers but not a woman who wants to be the next vice president of the usa.
McCain's campaign manager said early on that this campaign would not be about the issues and that they would do or say just about anything, to the effect of "all's fair in love and war." If McCain and Palin are proving to be this unethical now, what will they be like as President/VP???
Obama tried to pass Ayers off as "just a neighbour that I run into from time to time," but we all know about his "activities" involving Ayers; and they ARE more than "casual acquaintances."

I suspect Palin's been listening to too much Fox News. Over there they have been harping on this since the Wright thing. Obama just doesn't show radical tendencies. Someone please show me a clip of him being radical in his speech or actions - it just does not exist. No record of criminal activity. Palin/McCain are grasping for thin air. So much for their clean campaign, and I guarantee they'd be just as dirty in their ethics in the White House.
Prima Donna, these people believe that once they have turned their life over to Jesus and admitted that they are "only human and not perfect" they aren't responsible for anything they do wrong.

When you get the thorough investigation that most political candidates recieve there's always something that ties you to someone considered objectionable.
And does anybody else remember that photo of Rumsfeld shaking hands with Sadam Hussein that was a punch line for every other joke on The Daily Show for a while? That's what this is, only even less meaningful.
Innocent until proven guilty? There is no proof. A jury has to look at all the facts from all sides. Sadly no one really doesnt that in politics. They know what they want and refuse to see anything beyond what their desire tells them.

Obama was 5 when Ayers was in the Weather Underground. Ayers is now a professor at the University of Illinois.

I also saw an expose they did on hockey moms and how they related to Palin. One even went so far as to say she could do the same job as Palin. The sad part of this is it is true. I don't care if she relates to us like us. This type of position requires some one better than us. A leader is someone that has characteristics that are stronger, and more ethical than us. She isn't fitting the bill and she does not parlay to me any kind of hate messages.
All I got to say is that I made up my mind to vote for Obama when Hillary dropped out the race.
If this were the case, then we would have to accuse all people, including most of the government officials we’ve elected, because most or all have mixed some time or another with the same or worse in their political careers!

Your side has some facts incorrect as well. Please PLEASE do not think that your candidate is running a 100% honest campaign either. Neither side is 100% true. Believe me...I just got finished with a local campaign for our city and found that out by being on a committee.

a) If you watch several minutes of the video up to the point where he says "my Muslim faith" you can see that he does what we all do ie when we hear a certain word repeated and repeated and repeated somewhere you will use that word erroneously and in the wrong context. We have ALL done that at some point. This is one of those occasions as it 's Muslim this, Muslim that...very easily done.
