Mystic Aquarium~Part 2

Earlier in the week I posted the first part of our trip to Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, CT. It included the outddor exhibits. The article can be found here:

Now it's time for the indoor pictures! We ate lunch before heading into the main part of the aquarium. If you arrive close to mealtime, I do recommend eating outside of the aquarium. It would be much cheaper! It's very dark inside and I did have a lot of trouble getting good pics, but wanted to share what I did get, so here goes!

 

 

I wish this jellyfish would have come out better. Hewas in the tanks where they show "neon" in nature. It was glowing so much!

 

This last shot came out very dark. If you look carefully you can see a rare white lobster.

It is, JR. We tried to go to Mystic Pizza for lunch after the seaport but couldn't find a parking space anywhere near it. The town was full up, so we went to another piza place just outside of the main area.

No, Amanda. We couldn't find any parking spaces anywhere close to it. We went to Angie's Pizza instead. It was really good!

Cool! I used to go to the aquarium all the time when I was a kid. I spent summers in Groton with my uncle. We were going to take our sons there this summer on the way home from New Hampshire but there was a five hour backup on I95 in New London. Imagine that! A traffic pileup on 95.

Very nice photos..I once did a "sleepover event with the fishes" there when I was younger...Definitely miss that place and driving over the Mystic drawbridge in summer time!
