Interesting. I signed up a long time ago, even though I know, as I'm sure you do, that it was Boone Pickens who funded the swiftboat campaign that defeated John Kerry. I have wondered if the pickens plan was a more subtle, backhanded way of doing the same thing to Sen. Obama -- but so far, I think it has been above board. His video welcoming Palin to his office has me wondering though ... He can't possibly think Palin knows enough about energy to carry on an intelligent discussion.

Pickens did meet with both presidential candidates earlier this summer.

I have also wondered if Pickens is behind the distribution of "Obsession," the scare tactic "documentary" that was inserted in millions of newspapers across the country. It, too, has a piece about limiting our dependence on foreign oil on the movie web site.

So now that we are almost in the throes of the new prez, could you update us on the topic of this pickens thing? How is is going to be implemented, or if it is even going to be implemented?
