Perfecting The Novel Cover

As much as I told myself that I'd leave the cover as it was with the other versions, I decided that I was going to try to perfect it. The Photoshop trial will expire and it'd just be my luck that I'd want to redo it after it was gone... which is impossible, really.

So here's three more tries. One of these will be the final... I'm still debating which one, though.

Try one... finally deciding that the cropping was too jagged for my likes. I just left it in.

Try two.. becoming brave (or is it stupid?) and trying to crop again. This one is the one that is documented on the videos.

They all have their perks.. and I'm hoping that I'm finally done with this cover now, LOL. Any and all thoughts, opnions etc is welcomed.

I'm with David, I like the 1st one. I'd really like the next to last one if her hair wasn't on her shoulder. The text against her dark hair doesn't stand out too well. But I really like the first one :)

Oh I forgot to mention, you don't need the full edition of photoshop to do all that. I just use elements, its a lot cheaper and it has enough bells and whistles to do more than most projects. Might be something to look into if you want to keep making your own covers and such.

I've gotta agree with the others. Although each has things I like about them, I still like the first one best.

The title of the book should be able to be read from across the room.

No matter how in love with the graphic you are.

I like the third and fourth ones myself. I like the Idea of the title running into the blood.

I'm not very good with photoshop, jsut can't quite get the hang of it. good job jennifer

I like the second one and I was very glad seeing that it's also Rene's choice. There is enough promise of obscurity in the title itself, while the lighter background leaves us with some hope.
