We've been thinking about the color Brown at Rainbow Connections for the past week...
and a half.
Hopefully, those of you who thought brown was a boring color have discovered that brown is a color with many beautiful qualities.

We've found that brown can be a window to the world.

We've seen the richness of brown in nature...

We've seen delicious-looking brown food...

Whether a freshly-roasted Thanksgiving turkey, gingerbread warm from the oven, or a chocolate fantasy come to life...

Our mouths have watered as we've thought of brown...

We've seen brown at its rustic, au natural best...

We've seen man-made browns in every hue and shade.

We've seen elegant, ritzy browns.

We've seen homemade browns...

We've seen homespun browns...

We've seen arty browns...

We've seen playful browns...

We've seen browns of historic proportions... (Lest you say there were many winners... lest you wonder why your photo or essay was not on the list... be gentle with me. There were well over 300 hundred entries this week.)

And now, we'll off to see the Best of the Best... the Brown Sugar of All Browns...
Congratulations to this week's winners!
