Headed North - Anticipating Hugs!

Just a lil post letting all my connections know you won't be seeing me around for awhile as I'm headed to SW Minnesota. Its been 15 months since I've seen the welcoming arms of MN, its constant prairie wind, vast corn and soybean fields, beautiful parks and of course the Redwood River. But the arms I've missed most are the ones of my two daughters, Mom, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews and old friends. I'm so ready for hugs! 

Today I have a lot of those last minute things to do before I leave; pick up medications, finish packing, wash, vacuum out and fill up the car, watch the VP debate and pick up a couple audio books to fill the time while I make the 11 hour trek north. Does anyone have any suggestions? I love a good murder mystery.

See y'all sometime after the 19th!

Have a wonderful time and safe trip Lynn. I just read a really good murder mystery, Faye Kellerman's Mercedes Coffin. I don't know if it is on audio yet or not. John Sandford has a new book out, Heat Lightning, I have it but haven't read it yet as I am finishing Nora Robert's Tribute.

I'm late as usual. Great photo of you and your daughters. Have a wonderful time and when I saw the title of this article, that you were leaving for the north? Well, dang it gal, I thought you were coming to New England - Connecticut maybe? :) Oh well, next time perhaps?

Hey Lynn, how was your trip? My main area of responsibility in my most recent job was our distribution Center in the Twin Cities. I found the people there to be very down to earth, hard working and for the most part very kind. Of course in the job of business to business collections you are always going to run into one or two that are not very happy to hear from you. I always managed to have an excellent relationship with them though in all of my years of doing that job in many different areas of the country because I treat people the way that I would want to be treated if the show were on the other foot.
