Do you have a favorite product or brand that you want to tell everyone about? We all have our favorite items that are “must-haves.” Or maybe you’ve recently tried a new product that you like even better. Either way, with the holidays coming and all the prep work that goes into them, I’m sure we could all benefit from hearing about your favorite products. Therefore, we’d like to encourage you to write a product review and share it with the Buzz Group.
We’re giving away five Gather Grabs to members who post reviews of their favorite product between today and Wednesday, October 8th. Make sure to tag your review with “gathergrab” and publish it to the Buzz Group. Then if you feel like it, you can write a review of your Gather Grab!

At one time Gather had wisely adopted the policy of other leading companies which prevented members having a special relationship with Gather from being eligible for Gather-selected contests. This included editorial or random selection of winners as the potential for impropriety would be the same.
Has Gather moved away from this policy now, and if so how can the integrity of the results be ensured for other members not chosen that don't have a known relationship with Gather?

Some of the winners for this contest, and others, are correspondents (agents/representatives) for Gather. Therefore, the specter of impropriety from discrimination or favoritism cannot be ruled out when there is no transparency in the selection process. How winners are chosen (editorially or randomly drawn) is immaterial when both take place behind closed doors.
