If you were able to step into a time machine right now, where would you go and why?  You can post more than one but make it a different post...

 

I would go back to 1978 and when I got to 1992, I would get back in and go back to 1978 and start it all over and over again.

I LOVED the 80's and would love to relive them all over again.

I'd go back in time to August 9th of 2008, and repeat the two weeks that followed, at an endless loop. That's when Walker came to Canada!

As an observer, or as a participant in the culture?
As an observer, I'd like to see Aristotle's library (~400 b.c.e). Obviously I wouldn't be able to participate, since women weren't allowed in the gymnasiums.
I'd also like to meet Richard Feynman and Albert Einstein. Perhaps around 1942 and I could drop in on the Manhattan project during its developmental stages?

I would love a time machine. I'd like to see my grandparents and great grandparents as children. I'd like to see my mother and father at 15 & 18 as they were dating. I'd like to visit different historical times to see how accurately they've been portrayed by historians. I'd probably be as addicted to it as I am to this computer.

Now if I could change the past, I'd probably go back to 1969 and not attend school where I met my ex.
