Time is winding down. There's only three days left to my travels.
The city I'm in today was once known by a different name. It was originally named for the great number of trees there.
Previously in my travels I went to a museum dedicated to soda. But today I'm going to a museum dedicated to a vegetable. Once I pay the admission here, I'll receive a product made from the vegetable. I got up pretty early this morning and had breakfast about two hours ago, so I could stand to get a snack there.
A fun fact about this vegetable: is that it is made up of about 80% water.
What was the original name of the city I'm in today, and what treat will the museum give me for paying the admission?
About the Travel Guru: I invite you to join me on an adventure as I make my way around the country. If you can guess where I am, you could win up to 125 Gather Points and the chance to receive a $100 AMEX gift card towards your own travels.
Here's how it works: Throughout the week, I'll create five posts that give you clues as to where I am. I travel fairly quickly, so be sure to connect to me to keep up! For each post, I'll choose one Gather member who correctly guesses where I am that day to receive 100 Gather Points. The first person to guess the correct answer will automatically receive 25 Gather Points and will also be eligible for the 100 Gather Points. Throughout my travels, everyone who submits a correct answer will be placed into a drawing to receive $100 AMEX gift card at the end of my trip.

Potato Museum in Blackfoot, Idaho the city was previously named Grove city. They give out different samples including potato chips, baked potatoes, and to the "out of staters" hashbrowns.
I think that covers it all.
By the way nearly all fresh produce is 90% water.
Do you know why it is called Blackfoot? It has nothing to do with Native Americans?
Good Quiz.
I agree it is Blackfoot, Idaho.
I have missed going there everytime I have visited my brother and his wife in Idaho.
