The studio of C.C.Miranda is pleased to announce that Pensacola resident and internationally known artist C.C. Miranda will be the featured artist on exhibit at 600 South this Friday,October 3, 2008 for Gallery Night.
C.C. Miranda will be unveiling several new works of art for this exhibit.
"I am excited to unveil this new body of work," states C.C. Miranda. "I really feel that I have pushed the depths of my creative abilities past what I've done before. I have delved into new colors as well as touched on some very emotion evoking imagery, while maintaining the overlapping faces that people have come to associate with my style. I look forward to seeing the reaction these works get from the viewers."
Prints of C.C.Miranda's work will be available for sale as well as the originals during the evening's event.
C.C. Miranda will also be collecting donations to help raise funds for The Jef Bond Kidney Foundation. A good friend and local photographer, Jef Bond is currently undergoing treatment for kidney failure after his body rejected his transplant and he needs help raising the money to pay for the medical expenses. Please go to www.jefbondkidneyfoundation.org for more information about how you can help.
Also while at 600 South, you can listen to live music while you watch some of the most talented local artists such as Pat Hayes, and James Mitts demonstrate their abilities for you while photographer Margaret Warren shows off not only her talented photographic skills, but a 1968 painted Porche that is truly one of a kind.
Don't forget to enjoy some of the amazing tapas dishes created just for you by Chef Eric Mason Hensel. It truly is art on a plate.
600 South is located at 600 South Palafox Street at New World Landing just south of Main Street in Pensacola, Florida. We look forward to seeing you there from 5-9pm.

Break a leg CC!
For the purposes of Gather, you might want to add city and state to your press release. (Or, if you have a picture of the gallery, you could post and geo-tag the picture).
Thanks for posting this to The Surreal Circus.
I'm also excited about seeing all of the can sculptures - I'm glad Pensacola is participating in such a great project!
