I took these pictures about 7:00pm, at what we call "Golden Time". The sun is setting and casts a golden glow on the east shore.
Color is spreading daily, little by little, lighting up the trees.

Oaks, maples, pines, birch all bring their own colors to the portrait.

The west shore has its own colors, lights and shadows. 
On the south side of the lake the trees are changing slowly.

Red, orange, gold, yellow, brown and green....all colors and shades are needed to make the picture complete.
