Thanks for posting this to Best Original Photos, Art and Writing for 2008
Thank you.
Chas,
Who is your friend? I don't know too many people here (just coworkers and patients). Thanks for stopping by.
Trish,
It is amazing. With technology, there has been so many changes. Some good, some bad.
Leah, Nancy & G8nana,
Thank you all for taking the time to go on this tour.
Magi,
Thank you so much. I'm glad you have come along on the tour. This weekend is the Antique Car Show at this park. I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it or not since I have to work.
Bob & Marilyn,
Thank you both.
Kay,
You're welcome. Plan a date to come before the weather gets too cold :)
Thanks, Marianne.
Mary,
I bet it was neat being able to visit your grandfather's store. Mine never owned a store, but their house had the most interesting things in them.
Vic and Heidianna,
Thank you both.
Nana,
Thank you. I'm glad you like the tours. It took me forever to get them all loaded (especially the photos) ~ I kept having trouble with Gather.
I do too. You're right, of course, that people didn't "update" things like we do now. There was very little "thrown out" and replaced with newer things. When my paternal grandparents passed, they had so many old relics ~ of course, with so many children things got distributed. I just hope those things are kept and passed down to great grandchildren, etc.
Thanks for stopping by.
You brought fine memories tonight, Renda.
