In the rear of the pharmacy is a doctor's office and exam room.

This was one of my favorite buildings to tour at Landmark Park. The wooden shelves are stocked with old vials, bottles, and relics from days gone by. I could spend hours just examining these.

Kim & Dan, thank you both.
Magi, it is good to see history preserved. I like the idea of this being available in the area to take children. It is good for them to see things from long ago. Whenever you get ready to come, let me know :)
Bob, it certainly is. Thanks.
Nancy, you are so right. It is neat to be able to grab something from the soda fountain and take a seat while admiring the building and contents.
Deb,
Thank you so much.
Kay,
It probably is the soda fountain...or all the wood. You need to come and take a walk through.
Mary,
Thank you. I'm so glad you're enjoying the tour.
Marianne,
It really is. I liked hearing the creak of the wood floor beneath my feet. Reminds me of other places I've been to and makes me wonder how many people have been through the pharmacy since it was built in 1898.
Vic,
Thanks!
Cori,
I'm glad you enjoyed this. Thanks so much.
Nana,
Thank you.
Laura,
It is a treat and I'm going to go back before the weather gets cold. Thanks so much for coming by.
Blessings...
Necee, thank you so much. Thanks for taking the time to view and comment on these. Love the icon, by the way.
Thank you. It really is interesting to walk through these old buildings.
I love photo/essays that take me back to another time as did this. Look at all those antique bottles. Wow, if my sister saw those.
Thank you. I like looking through places like this too. It's interesting to see how much things have changed (some good, some bad). Those bottles are awesome and I'm glad they were able to save much of the contents of the old pharmacy to display.
Lynn,
Thanks. I can spend hours just searching the shelves :) I'm glad they saved it too.
Karie Anne,
I am not sure where the exact location of this pharmacy was in Enterprise before it was moved. There are some articles about it being moved if you google the information, however I have yet to find an actual picture of the pharmacy in its original location. I did not know you lived in Dothan and Enterprise. How long ago were you here?
Thank you all for coming by.
