Daily Whine & Shine - Monday, September 29, 2008

Whether you agree with the concept or not, everyone needs to be able to vent from time to time. That's especially true if you're one of the many who suffer from an invisible illness. We have whines and rants about pains, medical professionals and prescriptions, just to name a few. Perhaps our families listen; perhaps they don't. Even if they do, they get tired of our complaining, even if they claim to understand our constant struggles. Or if they don't get tired of our "negative energy" we think they do or will.

So, are you ready to rant about something?  This is the place to tell all. 

It's also the place to tell all about the happy events in your life. 

What's happening in your world today?  Are you grumpy about something?  Or so angry that you could spit?  Tell it here.  Here at the Daily Whine & Shine, it's acceptable to rant, vent, complain, stomp your feet, throw a tantrum and shout, "Oh shuckie darn!"

Wait! Don't go away. Do you have some good news to share? Great. This is the place for that as well. If you're celebrating, dancing, and yelling, "Yippee skippy!" please share. Sometimes knowing about someone else's happiness gives us a bit of hope for ourselves.

Whether you're shouting, "Oh shuckie darn!" or yelling, "Yippee skippy!" - this is the place to be.

Happy Confucius Day and VFW Day. Sorry I'm late. Congresswoman Jean Schmidt had a representative from her office in our township offices to talk about (or take complaints) about government programs like Social Security, welfare, and the like. I took over a one page summary about my SS disability claim. Some folks say that if your congressman inquires about your disability claim it will help. I guess we'll see.

Hi Marylin - how are you doing? How is the firbo fog? Last week I kept forgetting what day of the week and month it was! It was getting kinda scary because I've never been like that before. I think the stress of everything, including the economy, is taking its toll on me!

My shine for today - the sun came out!!!! Yay! There is blue sky :-)

My whine for the day is..
I don't want to do dishes! Wah!!

I hate dishes too! I got so spoiled by being an apartment renter. They always have dishwashers and garbage disposals. I want those things in my house! Some day, I guess.

Hi y'all. My fibro fog has been annoying lately. I'm lucky I made it to see the person from my congresswoman's office, but I did. She was sympathetic. Don't know if it will help, but it felt good telling someone and having her appear to care.

Marilyn please let me know what happens about what you took over to your congressman. I would love to see if you get results as they say you might. In the mean time about whats goin g on around me. I sent you a letter on here that i am nort sure you have got and read yet. And today i went to the doctor about the blood comming from my kidney and they told me to go rto my kidney doctor and I went with my neice to the doctor that tol.d me that by myself and we came home and I told my neice I was not teling mom what they said because if she knows I will be took to that doctor and possably put in the hospital and there is no way I am going to be cheated out of going to my neice's wedding on Fort Mountain in less than 4 weeks. This is about the 6th time they changed the place of the wedding. My neice can not handle any more set backs in the planning of her wedding and I can not stand to be the cause of a set back. I am just goiing to have to wrisk it.

My favorite Bible verse has always been Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Marilyn in my heart I knoiw you are right but my neicew has been so much a part of my life and I have felt a closeness to her that ever sence she was even about to be born before her mom gave birth to her when she was carring her I have dreamed of being at her wedding and always vowed that I would not miss it. 22 years of a dream is kind of hard to get my mind around giving up. I hope you know what I mean about this. I just can nort stand maybe going to that doctor and most liklyt not being there for her due to a hospital stay. Just the thought hurts to think I will miss her wedding.

your most likly right besides when I went to the doctor today it had been less than 2 weeks sence they had checked my hemaglobon to see if i had sepsis and to check my blood loss level found out today if it gets below a 8 I will have to have a transfusion and the other day it was i think 11. something and today I think it was 10.2 so something is not right. Maybe I better go now and see whats up in the next few days if I can get a appointment. Wish me luck. And Please pray i get to see my neice get married. Oh by the way found out today my neice was looking up songs for her wedding and they founf the song Angie and her boy friend said he was going to learn it supposidly and sing it to me supposedly. I have a feeling hes going to try to do it at the wedding. LOL Sorry for laughing but the poor boy can't sing.

My shine is that my little sister called me and my San Antonio Silver Stars won and are on there way to the WNBA championships!!!! Whoo Hoo!!!!
