Blog It Out, Baby: September 29, 2008

Life has sure been crazy for the month of September.  There have been some very challenging events in the lives of me and my husband.  Hubby is "out of town" until further notice, so I am here holding down the fort until he gets home.  This long-distance relationship stuff blows!  I've been having some major money concerns because he had to leave so suddenly, and I've basically been giving up food and sleep to keep working 24/7.  I've made about $600 at ChaCha this month!  It's insane!  I have really missed all of the relaxing hours I spend on Gather, but real life has to take precedence for the time being.  My sister moved in with me until hubs and I can find a new place to live in the next few months.  Now we have 1 dog and 3 cats in the house!  LOL!  It's a zoo around here, literally!  Everywhere I turn there is some animal looking to be fed, pet, cleaned up after, or played with!  I've discovered the wonderful world of the United States Postal Service!  Getting mail from hubby makes my day, and the written word has really made us stronger in the last weeks!  We actually met in a chat room on the internet...  So, it's sort of like we are getting back to our roots!  Getting to know each other all over again!  It's Monday morning, and I have a lot of errands to take care of before I can relax a little bit before going back to work...  the bank, the doctor, the grocery store.  I just wanted to blog a little to make sure my Gather friends know that I am still here and lurking about...  just not as active as I would like to be.  I hope everyone is having a great autumn, and I will be back to Gathering on a regular basis once my life gets into a regular pattern and routine again.  Have a happy week everyone!
