Looking for an mp3 player for a toddler

Must disagree with you on this. Little kids have no business wearing headphones or earbuds. They've got no sense when it comes to volume.

My dd has Autism. She has audio problems. She wears them to deal with the world when we go out in public. According to her OT kids should not wear earphones before the age of two.

I saw a really heavy duty one at toys R us the other day, it was spiderman, and was round and made from hard plastic. Might check there.

I don';t really know.

Maybe like a my first Sony MP3 discman or mp3 player? The iPods are pretty rugged, depending what you get, but I really don't know about the safety issues you might have with them and toddlers..

There's a type you can get at Toys R Us that is made to recharge by shaking, and is made for kids, but while still being a traditional MP3 player. I have a friend who got one for her 5 year old. I'll ask the brand name.

I need that one Princess mentioned!

Also, becareful with the autism diagnosis...my daughter was diagnosised autistic at age 2...she isn't...there were other issues that cause the same signs and symptoms. She's 11 now.
