South shore, Kentucky~Quilt festival 2008

I had heard about a car show going on Saturday but could not find anyone that knew anything about it. Today I was dropping my youngest off at work and I spotted an old car and decided I'd follow it.  I was lucky enough that it was going to the car show. There was a quilt festival going on too. I was a bit early and not all the cars were there and not all the booths were set up but I still got some pretty nice photos of beautiful handmade crafts.

I just love these yard sign pumpkins! They are so beautifully made!

I met the lady who made those cute pumpkins, shes know as the craft lady and I gave her my gather web address so hopefully we will have another artist on here pretty soon.

I did find some pretty quilts made by Raggady Annies. I didnt look at the price Im still kicking myself because at the time I was thinking about the car show. I didnt have long to hang around since it was an unplanned adventure.

Some many hand made beautiful thing to see!  pumpkins a scarecrow and HA! a frosty hiding back there. I hadnt even noticed him when I took the shot! I am so not ready to see him any time soon. There were made by the shop below.

I was told this next booth didnt like having their photo taken but I had to do it anyway when they were not looking!!

ugg sun was in the wrong place at the wrong time messed it up a bit but I got the shot with out being busted and yelled at.  I didnt see very many quilts there but here a shot of another booth that had them. It seamed to be more of a crafts festival.
What would any festival be with out the food.

I wish I had more time to have browsed more of the shops, I did make it to the car show I will be putting that essay up next. I hope this is a yearly event Id like to go again.  all photos taken with +++panasonic f18+++  Fall is here and festival are everywhere just go out and look for them!!
