You might have noticed that every time you turn on your TV in the morning, you find lots of channels giving various tips, advices and tricks of reducing weights. They give various weight loss plans to their viewers. All of them claim that their weight loss plan is a new miracle of science that can bring desirable results within a week or two. By using most of these plans, you can certainly lose something; your money, nothing else. The only thing you are likely to lose after following their plan is your own money. On the other hand, there are many weight loss plans that require almost no money to spend and can guarantee desirable effects but at these weight loss plans require commitment and an optimistic approach.
You have to be self-motivated because no one can force you towards following a weight loss plan. You have to do it for your own self. No matter which weight loss plan do you follow, one thing is for sure; you can't get instant results; you have to show patience and one day you will have your desired results. If you show a decent attitude towards your goal and you move in the right direction then you will surely reach your goal. There are many weight loss plans that you can use to reach your goal, out of these, 3 most common weight loss plans are discussed below:
Eat Lo-carb foods
One of the ways to lose weight is to follow weight loss plans that emphasize on the eating of foods that contain less carbohydrate. This kind of diet is so popular especially the Atkins Diet. On this weight loss plan, one eats as little carbs as possible. You can eat carbs, those carbs that just come from fruits and vegetables. Please note that this plan emphasizes eating foods with low carbohydrates and not abstaining from carbs in its entirety. What one actually cuts out is that needless bread and grains, that makes one gain weight. This plan actually works. It just involves the preparation for carb withdrawal which usually dissipates in a few days. One advice is most experts give is keeping the weight off by slowly easing back into carbs to test one's tolerance. Indeed, it is a great weight loss plan that has worked for many people.
Eat Low-fat Foods
This is yet another plan that has proven successes. Some people say this weight loss plan doesn't work because it allows you to eat anything as long as it's low fat, but it has worked for many so it might be worth giving it a try. This plan involves eating only foods that have fats totaling below ten(10) grams. i.e no eating of anything that has a fat total above ten(10) grams. It just requires you to really read those food labels, which are pretty much on all the foods one eats. The magic behind this plan is that as one limits one fat intake, one basically eats fewer calories. This plan, though has had proven successes, it has been met with a lot of criticisms because it allows one to eat anything as long as it is low fat.
Eat Low Calorie Foods
This is the last but not the least weight loss plan. It involves eating only food with low calories. This diet involves you finding out how many calories you can take-in in a day to stay at your current weight. Depending on one's activity level, this amount is usually calculated by taking your current weight and multiplying it by thirteen to fifteen. Then, subtract five hundred. That equals the amount of calories one should consume each day if one hopes to lose weight. As long as one supplements ones diet with plenty of exercise, this technique works well.
All of the above mentioned weight loss plans really work as long as you show commitment and enthusiasm. You have to adhere to these plans for a longer period of time to get sustainable results.
