Since I'd probably follow Ron B. just about anywhere, anyway, I decided that maybe being one of the people that follow him on the 50 Odd Things post might get my writing motor jump-started again. Big "if," but what the heck.
I've already filled this stupid thing out with my own answers twice today. That's right, boys and girls, don't get too close to the chasm that is Gather on this sunny Sunday, because it will reach right out and swallow the silly questionnaire you just filled out. Twice. If you do find yourself in this predicament, at least copy and paste it all to something like notepad before hitting that non-functional "Submit" button-thing.
My husband made the remark that my language has gone downhill since I've been using Gather. Wonder why the freakin' hell that would happen?
50 odd, unusual, eccentric, weird, abnormal or downright perverted things about Myself..
1) Favorite object in your room?
My dead and stuffed armadillo, Xavier. He is my souvenir from Nogales, Mexico. I bought him from a man who proclaimed loudly and often, "I am your Mexican K-Mart." When I enquired how Xavier might have passed on to that big Sonora in the sky, Mexican K-Mart assured me it was natural causes. The .22 size hole under his ear that had been filled with wood putty was nothing.
2) Have you ever smoked heroin?
No. I think it would be pretty hard to keep the needle on fire.
3) Do you own guns?
Oh, you betcha, and that's all you get to know.
4) What flavor do you add to your drink at sonic?
Who knew you could do that? Next time I'm going to say, "Give me a large cheeseburger flavored Diet Pepsi." No calories, all the taste.
5) Do you get nervous before doctor appointments?
Only back when there weren't any home pregnancy test kits.
6) What do you think of hot dogs?
I think they have the weird ability to taste great at any sort of massing together of people, but have no taste when eaten at home, alone, in front of another Star Trek rerun.
7) Favorite song?
Bernadette - The Four Tops

Hope your crunched buttocks is on the mend soon.
Note to remember: Vicky has a gun, and something dreadful happened to poor little Xavier. I kind of want to know what happened. Do tell.
Have you ever posted a picture of Xavier?
Long live Havarti cheese...my favorite too! Especially if it's got a little dill in it, although I guess that would not be the "pure" stuff.
Can you do push ups?
Not by myself.
Me neither.
I'll share some of my supply of Blue Mountain coffee that I buy from the Caribbean next time we go... if you promise to keep Xavier on your side of the Mississippi forever, ok???
Ok - going to read them now.
Uh..Xavier?
Back to reading.
I hope so but actually I doubt it"
That would be ME, Pookie.
Hello N*K* welcome your new icon.
Aniko - I've posted a pic of Xavier but I'm not sure if it's still on Gather. I can always take another. He's not going anywhere.
CC - after Xavier became a family member, I read that armadillos can carry leprosy. I'm hoping that doesn't include deceased armadillos.
Christine - I like the plain Havarati and the jalepeno. I've not tried the dill but I will!
Duckie - My husband came home from work at 11:30 one night and swears he saw an armadillo about a half mile from our house, crossing the road in a wooded area. I know they've been spotted now as far north as St. Louis, so maybe they really are here.
Ina - I was laughing so hard last night at your video that I had tears going, then you pulled out that damn kazoo/trombone and I just lost it. I've watched it about five times now.
Wilhelmine - It's supposed to be funny about the chin, but it's also sadly, true.
