homecoming

Our town has had homecoming  there was a barn fire on the 26th and the juinor high home coming dance on the 27th the home coming parade and the football game which they won and the high school dance my grandson is in 7th grade so he went to the dance on the 26th he didn't bring a date he went with a buch of his his friends so he could have fun and dance with who ever he wanted to and not have to be with one person

I hate home coming!
But thats only because I am a custodian for the school system. What a mess those students can make and I have to clean it up grrrr. But on a more serious note its always a great time.

We have something like that in the town beside us once a year. Nothing like a get together of the town to get to know one another and make new friends. Sad that it doesnt happen everywhere.

I wasn't eager to have my children pairing off in junior high, so it's great that your grandson felt good about going alone. Groups are the most fun anyway.

my son and his 2 friends went to homecoming with 5 girls! they all went together so that they wouldn't be pressured to be with just one person. This is a great idea - I worry about all that peer pressure to get a girlfriend.
