Here is the beginning of the definition that helped me figure out what the fair entry could be:
Photography Encyclopedia: three-dimensional photography
Now I know that this is talking about 3-d photography but I am thinking that they might mean something like this for the possibility:

Whatcha think....whatcha think....is this what they might mean?? If so, I am going to let you guys choose: A. Butterfly/marigolds, B. Bee/sunflower, C. Wet Peruvian Lily, or D. Up close mushroom.
The photo with the most by Monday (9/29/08) will be the one.
Here were the two I took in:

The butterfly/marigolds ended up actually being my Misc entry while the fair ladies chose my selective color butterfly/zinnias to be my dimensional entry. While we were figuring out how to re-arrange my entries, one of the ladies asked what hubby's name was. I told her and she proceeded to inform me that the mushroom looked like a masculine shot and that my hubby was entering it. I feel so dirty now because I did not ask her or tell her yes she could do that. But I did just sit there and look at them dumb founded as they informed me they'd been doing it all day and I couldn't even say no. *sigh*

Jerri good luck with your fair entry.
I found this site / photo on Google Images maybe you can compare and chose?
To me, A expresses the most in depth to my eye. B has amazing detail in the closest object with the next sunflower just out of focus that I want to look closer. C is unique and has lovely detail but the is not as much contrast in the different depths. D I love because I want to touch the mushroom and feel like I can but I don't think it really showcases a large enough field of depth. The category has me confused....anyone notice how late I posted this?? I was still up at 5am rolling the idea around...that is how much it has me.
Others I like better as images but the first seems to fit the best
Have a WONDERFUL...

All five images I entered in the fair received blue ribbons while the selective color (butterfly & zinnias) received Best in Class.
