I have been very entertained by the recent postings on gather rumoring that Biden is about to be dropped from the Dem ticket in favor of Hillary Clinton. I figure that won't happen. It is too late for that. In fact I am a little puzled why anyone would think that it is even a possibility. What has Biden said or done to get himself fired? Why would Obama portray himself as an indecisive pup unable to stand on his own two feet without the Clintons to prop him up?
Oh I get it. It is Republican conspiracy theorizing. Obama is an immature, conniving incompetent liar, so of course he will do it. No, he won't. Republicans, start asking yourselves why you think this, and learn from it when it does not happen.
But if you happen to be a Republican, you might want to read this one:

Yup, there are serious Republicans who no longer are happy to have Palin on the ticket. Is she going off the ticket? No, of course not. Look, it is too late for that for either political party. This is a close election. If you admit a mistake, you are toast. But it is worth mentioning that even despite that fact, there are Republicans who want Palin off the ticket.

Empires fall
1) overextended military
2) debt
3) partisanship
Maybe McCain didn't pick Romney for the same reasons Obama didn't pick Billary.
